Archery releases come in many different styles. There are wrist or caliper style releases that are held to your wrist with a strap. These are by far the most popular releases for bow hunting and they allow your wrist to support the draw weight. T-Handle or hand held versions are, as the name implies, shaped like a “T” and are usually released with the use of thumb, pinky finger or back tension.
